Cab was heading back from a podcast he did up in Hollywood and coming thru Orange County.  So we jumped on the chance to meet up at the Combi for a little shred sesh.  Cab’s style is so graceful and fluid.  He really uses every part of this bowl and it’s no wonder he is a 2X Pool Party winner at this venue.  The Combi Pool at Vans is a replica from the Upland Skatepark, about 45 minutes east of Vans now.  That bowl was laid to rest in the late 80s.  The name stems from the “combination” of square and round bowls.
